Multiple factors related to the COVID-19 pandemic such as social isolation, economic difficulties and anxiety/uncertainty are thought likely lead or exacerbate stress-related disorders suicidality in vulnerable people, thus may a further possible increase use of Section 136 detention. Here, Dr Sam Kelbrick evaluate presence clinical record-keeping following Mental Health Act assessments, whether this has changed from pre-COVID-19, uptake digital technology conducting these assessments.
